A) The following will be delayed:
1. Large Employer Mandate and penalties for companies with 50+ employees
2. Verification of subsidy applications by Individuals/families
B) The following are going ahead:
1. Employer Model Notices requirement – Employers are required to give these notices to all employees starting on Oct. 1st, or within 14 days of hire.
2. Mandated 60 day waiting period for new employees to join existing employer medical plans.
3. Release of plans and rates for CA State’s SHOP (Small Business Health Options Program) exchange, latest ETA Aug. 8th.
4. FSA (Flexible Spending Account) salary deferral will be limited to $2,500.
5. The ACA and CA Exchange taxes and fees are expected to add about $15 to $16 per member per month to health premiums.
